The girl at the traffic light junction first started back in February 2008, as a celebration of love! It all began as a personal project that the girl did for the boy, the first of a series of surprises that she had in-store for him on Valentine’s Day in 2008. A little virtual space to document our love and journey together as a couple. Hence, the name of this blog: Timeless Beauty; Love is timeless. Love is beautiful. We celebrate the joy of Love.
Many believe in love at first sight. Yet, for us, it was “Puke at First Sight” as I was so intoxicated on the night that we met that I threw up on him! First of its kind, perhaps? Anyhow, this “back-to-basic” love story is very simple. Girl meets Boy and they fall in love. 01.01.2008 is the date to remember. Of course, like all relationships, there were many challenges and our relationship was put to the test many times but these shall be kept private.
HE loves: Music. Gastronomy. Cocktails. Photography. Nightlife.
SHE loves: Travel. Explore. Photography. Nature. Blog.
Along the way, 2 became 3 ( Archie joined us on 27th April 2009) and in 2010, we became a family of 4 (Frosty was adopted by us in July 2010)! And we just added Simba (Adopted in Sept 2012) which makes us a family of 5 now! WOW! Frankly to speak, our furry companions are both a bundle of joy and nightmare. There were days when we were left pondering about the nightmare that we got ourselves into; and days when we were smitten by their mischievous and adorable acts! To put it simply, our dogs never fail to put a smile across our faces, even when everything else seem to let us down!
Over time, this blog about love has soon evolved into a personal blog of mine. Me, first. Love, second. LOL. Sorry baby! A lifestyle diary where I can keep memories of the different moments & experiences. The inspiration for me, as cliche and corny as it might sound, to live life to the fullest. Honestly, it’s a hell lot harder than it sounds! To remind me (yes, i need reminders!) to be constantly exploring the different opportunities that have been presented to me. In other words, to live a “blog-worthy” life for myself.
